Welcome To Defection!
Defection Clan was founded in February 2008. We formed www.defectionclan.co.uk so we could have a fun and well organised clan environment. We currently are involved in many different games including: Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 4, Crysis, Air Rivals, and EVE. We are always looking into the future as a clan and have a great team of NCOs who look for new games and promote our clan constantly. Defection clan is currently allied with several clans, and is always aiming to improve our gaming communitys.

We have a strong ethos of team work and respect. Our clan structure is based on the British Army. Because of this structure it allows for great prospects of promotion in our clan; and if you show enough potential, you may even be promoted to an Officer. Defection Clan offers training for all levels of gamers whether you’re good or bad. Our training can improve team work, player skill, and tactical thinking; while having fun at the same time. We are looking for Recruits to join our clan and help =DEF= become one of the best clans around.

Changes to Teamspeak

Server

Due to lack of donations, we could no longer sustain our COD4 server with gameservers.com. Although this was a good quality server which was a great price we can simply not afford to continue to pay for all of our servers and thus have decided to focus on the servers to use more frequently.

Unfortunatly, our teamspeak server was tied to our COD4 server so it has gone offline. Now we need a TS server so dont think we are getting rid of that also, just moving it which again means you will recieve new login details shortly.

I know we have done this alot over a few months, but i assure you we will try and make this the last time. This time the server is not tied to any gameservers and thus means we should be able to keep renewing it no matter what happens to our gameservers.

We may re-establish our COD4 server in the upcommign months pending demand and donations but i would like to stress to all members that servers are not cheap, and although we do not require you to donate lack of donations results in the scaleing back of our servers for a small period as when increased donations helps fund expansion.

If you have not recieved your new teamspeak details by 6pm tonight, PM me.

Crysis Warhead - New =DEF= Gameserver

We at Defection have been looking into crysis warhead for quite a while for numerous reasons. Firstly, it is widely apparent that 2142 as a game is dying off slowly with less and less players online each week making it very hard for recruitment.

The same with frontlines, due to chaos studios messing up in its release they drove their player base away now to have even less players than 2142.

In order for =DEF= to maintain a influx of new members and continue to grow within the squad FPS genre it was important to scout new games as they are released for possible expansion. On that note, =DEF= are stating a one month trial of crysis warhead. Of course with this comes a brand new server:

So get recruiting! Lets take on this new game and continue our rapid expansion of the clan into a truly multi-gaming community. Out with the old, in with the new!

=The council has decided that it is time for =DEF= to move on from Tabula Rasa onto games which our members more enjoy and actually play. Tabula rasa is a great game but the lack of clan play features currently in the game makes the game more of a single player game than a community game.

On that note, =DEF= have now taken on board Air Rivals. This is a FREE to play MMO and is available from. Contact =DEF=Troopertate for details on this game.

New Frontlines Gameserver!

You may now notice that the server viewer (to the left of the page) is not working properly and is actually showing map images.

On top of this it is a pleasure to announce that we have a frontlines fuel of war gameserver up and running. The details are as follows:

New =DEF= Website - Lanched

Welcome to the new =DEF= Website.

Although this website is not finished yet, we have decided to open its doors. All i ask is that you allow me some time to complete the site and understand that we are only running at about 5% complete at this time.

You will find many different new features of this new and improved website, all features i willl explain in detail at a later date. But we can now be happy of having a fully functional (instead of buggy) website which has many advanced features and is above all is secure.

Enjoy the new site, be sure to check out the arcade on the forums for now to keep you occupied.
